Adult Black Belt Men & Women Weapon & Kata
Weapon & Empty-Hand Form (Kata) (5 separate disciplines)
√Japanese/Okinawan √Korean √Chinese √Open √Creative
OPEN: Free-Style martial arts training systems consisting of Japanese, Okinawan, Korean, or Chinese origins.
CREATIVE: A self-originated style or form of martial arts which may consist of a combination of contemporary martial arts.
JAPANESE/OKINAWAN: Traditional Japanese & Okinawan martial arts training systems.
KOREAN: Traditional Korean martial arts training systems.
CHINESE: Traditional Chinese martial arts training systems.
- 18 years old & up black belt Weapon and Empty-Hand Kata competition will be divided by discipline, gender, & age groups.
- Competitors in each gender & age group will compete for Gold, Silver, & Bronze medals.
- Each adult black belt discipline will host an adult black belt men’s weapon/empty-hand kata Grand Champion event and a women’s weapon/empty-hand kata Grand Champion event. The Grand Champion Winners of each gender will receive a $1,000 Cash Prize and a US Martial Arts Grand Nationals Jacket (to receive a Grand Champion Cash Prize, winner must be a registered member of the US Martial Arts Assoc.)
- The grand champion winners from each discipline & gender will compete for the Super Grand Championship weapon/empty-hand kata. The winner of each gender Super Grand Champion Winner will receive a $3,000 cash prize. The winner(s) will also receive a US Martial Arts Grand Nationals Championship Ring (to receive a Grand Champion Cash Prize, winner must be a registered member of the US Martial Arts Assoc.)

Adult Black Belt Men & Women Kumite
(adult black belt Men & Women 18 years old & up)
- Adult black belt men & women Kumite divisions will be divided by gender, age groups, and weight class. Gold, Silver, & Bronze medals will be awarded to the winners of each gender group, age group & weight class. (see adult black belt men & women kumite divisions).
- Adult Men’s kumite grand champion competition, and adult women’s kumite grand championship competition will be between the Gold Medal winners of each gender group, & weight class. The Grand Champion winner of each gender group will receive a $3,000 Cash Prize and a US Martial Arts Grand Nationals Jacket, and a 4 1/2 foot tall column Grand Championship Trophy. (to receive a Grand Champion Cash Prize, winner must be a registered member of the US Martial Arts Assoc.)
- Adult Black Belt Men’s and adult Black Belt Women’s Grand Champion winners will receive a $5,000 Cash Prize and a US Martial Arts Grand National Ring (to receive a Grand Champion Cash Prize, winner must be a registered member of the US Martial Arts Assoc.)

Under Black Belt Men & Women, Boys & Girls Kata
Weapon & Empty-Hand Form (Kata)
- 18 years old & up Men & Women Under Black Belt Weapon & Empty-Hand Form (Kata) competition will be divided by gender, age groups, & rank level only. Gold, Silver, & Bronze medals will be awarded to the winners of each gender group, age group, & rank level. (see adult under black belt men & women weapon & empty-hand form (kata) divisions).
- 13 – 17 years old & under Boys & Girls Under Black Belt Weapon & Empty-Hand Form (Kata) competition will be divided by gender, age groups, & rank level only. Gold, Silver, & Bronze medals will be awarded to the winners of each gender group, age group, & rank level. (see youth under black belt boys & girls weapon & empty-hand form (kata)
- 12 years old & Under boys & girls Under Black Belts will be divided by age group & rank level only. Gold, Silver, & Bronze medals will be awarded to the winners of each age group and rank level.

Under Black Belt Men & Women, Boys & Girls Kumite
Kumite
- 15 – 17 years old Black Belt & Under Black Belt male & female Kumite competition will be divided by gender, age groups, rank levels and weight class only. Gold, Silver, & Bronze medals will be awarded to the winners of each gender, weight class. (see 15 – 17 years old under black belt men & women kumite divisions).
- 13 – 14 years old Black Belt & Under Black Belt male & female Kumite competition will be divided by gender, age groups, rank levels only. Gold, Silver, & Bronze medals will be awarded to the winners of each weight class. (see 13 – 14 years old under black belt male & female kumite divisions).
- 12 years old and under Youth Under Black Belt male & female Kumite competition will be separate and divided by age groups, rank levels only. Gold, Silver, & Bronze medals will be awarded to the winners of each age group & rank level. (see 12 years old and under youth under black belt kumite divisions).
